Hello Again
Wow, it's been a while! I would like to thank the person who posted an anonymous comment pointing out how it is sheer disrespect to keep the site open but without ever updating it. I don't know if this will be a valid excuse, but one main issue is that I have been in Colombia for the past two weeks. I'll post some pictures later, but for now, it will suffice to say that it was an awesome trip - even better than the last one. I was able to relax a little more and enjoy my time there a little better. Of course, when I had to leave today it still felt like I could stay for much, much longer, but I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity nonetheless.Now that I'm back in the States, my task is basically to figure out what to do with my life so that I can finally decide what type of job to go for. I am trying to discern where it is that the Lord is calling me, but I can't really tell yet. Should I work directly with the Church? Should I seek valuable experience in a secular non-profit? How about spending some time within a corporation? All of these experiences could possibly be enriching, but it's difficult to say which one is the right for me at this point in time.
In any case, I'll try to get back into the hang of posting more frequently. I'm glad to know that someone still checks out the site from time to time.
